William F. (Bill) Hutson graduated from Ferris State University with a Bachelors of Science in Business Administration in 1982 and graduated from Capital University Law School in 1991. He was admitted to the Ohio State Bar in 1991.

Since 1982, Bill has worked in the insurance industry in Michigan and central Ohio.  In 1993 he and his family moved to Medina County where he worked for a local insurance company.  His roles included handling claims litigation, corporate legal matters, life insurance/estate planning and real estate.  He is well versed in many aspects of corporate law, contracts and regulatory compliance.  In addition, Bill has been the Law Director for the Village of Westfield Center since 1997 and has represented the Village in a number of municipal matters over the years.

In 2013, after a 31 year corporate career, Bill started a private practice in Medina County.  He values the relationship with his clients and offers professional and friendly advice.  His practice focuses on small businesses and municipalities, estate planning/probate, real estate and insurance law.  He practices in Medina, Ashland, Summit, Lorain, Wayne and other counties in Northeast Ohio.

Bill lives in the Village of Westfield Center, Ohio with his wife. They have two children and two grandchildren.  Bill is active on the Medina County Port Authority, Alternative Paths, and Medina Sunrise Rotary.  He is a 2001 graduate of Leadership Medina and past president of Medina County United Way.  He is a member of the Medina County Bar Association and Ohio State Bar Association.
